Less

Henrik, Klara & Louise

Less is a performance that takes you into the world of circus in an exploratory way, in search of a new physical language.

In Less, the physical language between two pair acrobats and a tightrope walker takes center stage, as they take on their shared working height of two meters. With a steel structure and specially composed music created from the sounds of the tightrope rig itself, they explore their circus disciplines with an ambition of revealing and erasing their previously held perceptions of them.

This is a suggestive and intimate work where repetition and change is explored; layers are added and removed through a constant flow. Here, you encounter circus without a clear dramatic arc, in a 360-degree perspective where the presence of the artists speaks for itself.

Klara Mossberg is a tightrope artist and aerial acrobat who has been working across Europe since 2011, in everything from musicals and operas to international circus companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stockholm University of the Arts, and her practice revolves around deconstruction within slacklining and spatial relationships. The acrobatic duo Henrik Agger and Louise Bjurholm von Euler have been working together since 2001. For the past ten years, they have choreographed their own productions and performed their works at festivals and theaters around the world. In their artistic practice, they explore the art of working as a pair. Less is their first work in collaboration with Klara Mossberg, featuring music composed by Marcus Price.
