Kontraslöjd (For school)

Kontraslöjd is an interdisciplinary art piece where circus, craft, and music evoke wonder and curiosity about wood and trees.

What possibilities are there in wood and trees? In a fairytale-like and poetic manner, forests, fresh wood, and the creative work of the body are celebrated. Music and crafts are playfully combined with acrobatics, handstands, and juggling. Accordion, clarinet, and contrabass create a soundscape of jazz and Nordic folk music.

In Kontraslöjd we meet circus artist Jenny Soddu and clown Camilla Rud, who both create and tour performances around the world, double bassist and improvisational musician Mats Dimming, and folk musician and composer Veronica Lindåker.
